According to the Mayo Clinic, research has been done on several of the ingredients contained in the anti-aging creams.
It has been shown that a few of the ingredients may actually decrease the appearance of wrinkles and improve the overall look of the skin.
Common Ingredients in Face Lift Creams
Retinol contains antioxidants which neutralizes free radicals that have been shown to cause skin damage.
Alpha, beta and poly hydroxy acids are derived from sugar-containing fruits. These acids act as exfoliants which remove the dead skin and stimulates the growth of smooth new skin.
Coenzyme Q10 is a nutrient that helps regulate energy production in cells. Reduction in fine wrinkles around the eyes has resulted in some studies with this nutrient.
Copper peptides enhance wound healing. They also stimulate production of collagen and may enhance the action of antioxidants.
Kinetin may help reduce wrinkles by helping skin retain moisture and by stimulating the production of collagen. It may also be a potent antioxidant.
Green, black and oolong tea contain compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Green tea extracts are the ones most commonly found in wrinkle creams.
The Mayo Clinic points out that the FDA considers lotions and creams as cosmetics, which have no medical value. Because of this, there is no guarantee that any over-the-counter drugs reduce wrinkles.
There may be some improvement with creams used consistently over a period of time. It is recommended that you see a dermatologist for prescriptions creams if you desire more dramatic results.

Great post - I like it very much! I think that the best cream for wrinkles I´ve tried so far is lifecell - I was very satisfied. But my mum always told me that beauty comes from withinside and I believe it:) when we´re happy we look younger, right?
